Who We Are
Mt Sierra College was founded in 1990. For more than 25 years, the College has been known for its focus on effective use of technology, which has always been at the core of its educational mission. Mt Sierra College laid the foundation for its Bachelor of Science degree programs in 1994 and earned its accreditation in 1996. Leading edge programs in Media Arts, Network Communications and Information Technology prepare students for life-long careers. They acquire the cutting edge knowledge and skills that today’s industry demands, while learning in a caring and supportive environment.
Mt Sierra College offers approximately 25,000 square feet of space dedicated to student learning. The College provides instruction in state-of-the-art laboratories as well as spacious, traditional classrooms, all networked using the latest technology. Classes are small with an average of 15 students.

Learning From Professionals
At Mt Sierra College, you will learn from industry professionals who share their love for their profession through education with new professionals entering their field. Our programs are led by faculty who are published authors, have worked on the script and the visual effects of movies like “Hobbit”, “Mission Impossible”, ”Braveheart”, “Terminator”, “The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift”, and “The Passion of Christ”. Our faculty are professionals who have worked on games such as “Start Trek, Armada”, “Vampire: the Masquerade”, “Tony Hawk, Pro Skater II”, “NFL Game Day”, “Xiaolin Showdown”, “NFL Rush Zone” and many, many more. We have faculty who have developed and implemented the Business and Marketing Plans for multi-nationals as well as Silicon Valley high-tech start-ups.
