There are three types of Financial Aid available: grants, loans, and work-study. Grants are financial aid which do not have to be repaid (free money). Loans are borrowed money that must be repaid with interest. Work-Study allows the student to work and earn money to help pay for school.
Mt. Sierra College has been approved for participation in the following Title IV Student Aid Programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Federal PELL Grants
- Federal Stafford Loans
- Federal PLUS Loans
- Federal Supplement Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG)
- Federal Work-Study (FWS)
