Program Overview  |  Curriculum  |  Career Opportunities

The Game Arts & Design program prepares graduates for a variety of career options. Some of these careers are listed below.

3D Model Builder (Objects)
Like an industrial designer, the 3D object specialist designs physical objects, such as vehicles, furniture and weapons.

2D Conceptual Artist
If you love to invent worlds, people and creatures on paper, then Concept Artist might be just the job for you. By sketching important movie elements quickly, you will be able to create storyboards for movie sequences.

3D Character Builder
Work closely with concept artists and programmers to translate concept art into 3D game characters.

3D Character Animator
Apply the movements of a live actor to a game character to enhance the action to look realistic and natural.

Level Builder
Place structures, objects, and characters into the actual game levels. Handle technical details like fixing seams, setting triggers for doors/characters and testing to make sure the level plays correctly.

Art Director
Your creative ideas and artistic ability can inspire by example, and if need be, you can step in to fix problems as they come up throughout the production cycle.
