Pixel Magic Visual Effects – July 30:

Ray Scalice, VP and General Manager of Pixel Magic will be on campus to discuss all aspects of the visual effects industry including business, technology and special effects! Pixel Magic has worked on such films as “300,” “Live Free or Die Hard,” and “The Fantastic Four.” This event will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 7PM in room 127. DON’T MISS IT!

President and Dean’s List Luncheon – May 28:

A luncheon to honor students who made the President and Dean’s list was held on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at noon. Over 30 students attended the luncheon. They appreciated being honored for their achievements and were touched that they were able to mingle with John Davis, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, as well as with the Department Chairs.

Rhythm and Hues, responsible for the visual effects of amazing movies such as Babe, Lord of the Rings, and Alvin and the Chipmunks, delighted twenty lucky students from Mt. Sierra College with a tour of their facilities. Read more.

Ping Pong Tournament

June 21 & 22, 2007

A ping pong tournament will be held Thursday and Friday from noon to 1:00PM. This is a mixed doubles tournament meaning that the doubles pair must have one student and one faculty or staff member. To sign up, just write your name down on the list posted at the lobby.
