Who We Are
Mt. Sierra College is a private college offering bachelor's degree programs in Media Arts & Design, Business, and Technology. Founded in 1990, the College focuses on providing students with practical, real-world skills using current tools and technologies, preparing students for successful careers in today's rapidly changing and complex global marketplace.

- Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), Arlington, Virginia
- Approved as a degree-granting institution by the Bureau for Private Post secondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE), Sacramento, California

Our Curriculum
Mt. Sierra College degree programs have been developed to provide students with a well-rounded education - technology driven, academically sound curricula for tomorrow's professionals. Each program has two components:
Core Courses
- Build a solid industry-based foundation of skills in the student's area of specialization.
- Maximize the learning experience through hands-on labs and small class size.
- Learn to apply theoretical knowledge in the work place.
- Provide the necessary tools to work in a wide variety of specialty careers.
- All programs culminate in the completion of a senior project or thesis.
- Business and Technology: Application of acquired skills to a real-world project working with businesses or not-for-profit organizations.
- Media Arts & Design: Development of a balanced and robust portfolio to serve as the key to professional opportunity.
General Education
- Provide an integrated general education that is pertinent to the program of study.
- Teach students to think critically & solve problems.
- Develop effective communication skills.
- Explore the diversity and complexity of the world.
